Pam Gross
Staying true to the original intention of yoga, Pam weaves yoga's ancient roots into her practice to create awareness that yoga cares more about the shape of your life than the shape of your body.
Like most, Pam came to the mat 10 years ago to reap the physical benefits of the practice, but has stayed on the mat as the practice revealed many life lessons that have served her off the mat.
Pam teaches an authentic practice that connects the classical intention of the asanas to the physical, mental and spiritual benefits we experience today.
Prior to teaching yoga, Pam worked in journalism, advertising and fundraising. Using these skills combined with the love of yoga and writing, Pam created her blog Omm…On My Mat and website OmmChicago.com, Chicago's online yoga community.
As a life-long learner and yoga junkie, Pam is pursuing her 500-hour teacher training and attending as many master teacher workshops as time will allow.
While yogis believe that our lives are measured by the number of our breaths, Pam's loving family and friends remind her that life can also be measured by the moments that take your breath away.
