Liz Wellek
Yoga is a passion for Liz. She studies and practices both yoga and meditation. She is certified though Moksha Yoga Center Chicago's 200-hour Yoga Alliance approved Teacher Training Program. Liz's studies and practice include Astanga, Hatha, Iyengar, Vinyasa Flow, Restorative and Yin yoga. Liz specializes in Yoga for Men and Athletes.
Liz incorporates in her teaching and classes a range of yoga styles and various techniques for mental focusing. Her teaching focuses on alignment, Pranayama (breathing techniques), as well as longer holds to build heat, strength and flexibility for improved athletic performance. Students will leave class feeling balanced both physically and mentally.
Liz is an avid student of meditation and the principals of Buddhism.
Liz's three teenaged boys and supportive husband provide her with constant grounding, humor and inspiration.
